VRN Programs

The VETERAN RESOURCE NETWORK was founded in 2003 and has grown to a non-profit veterans services organization that has military, public, and private relationships across the United States.  VRN serves more than 3,000 veterans directly and more indirectly each year. We are one of the many organizations across our nation supporting those who do or have worn the uniform of the United States Armed Forces. Please consider supporting our efforts.

Here are our currently active programs:

The VETERAN SUPPORT DIRECTORY is a unique, one of a kind, national listing of veteran-focused and veteran-serving non-profits and governmental agencies. This one-stop-shopping is pulling together resources into one convenient, comprehensive portal. The site is being populated and is targeted for completion by March 1, 2018.

TROOPS TO BUSINESS is a VRN program that sprang out of multiple requests for assistance received from transitioning active duty military and fully transitioned military veterans who sought to open their own small business. The mission of this program is to give advice, guidance, and when possible, funding for veterans to go into business for themselves.

TROOPS TO CAREERS is a personalized veterans service activity that has one mission – To assist active duty transitioning military members and fully separated veterans during one of the most challenging times of their career – moving from active duty service to the civilian career force.

The TROOPS TO TRUCKERS program started as a small truck driver assistance program in Winchester, Virginia and has grown to a national resource for service members and veterans who are seeking to move to commercial truck driving as a career.
